SummaryPosition SummaryThis is a supervisory position, under the leadership of the Mgr - Supply Chain, responsible for daily operations of the Supply Chain within a MaineHealth member organization.
The Supervisor - Supply Chain Operations has operational responsibilities, directly or through direct reports, to organize and control the movement, storage, and distribution of all hospital goods, services, and equipment.
The supervisor serves as the onsite representative for the MaineHealth Supply Chain in the absence of the Mgr- Supply Chain and assist customers in the member organization with their needs.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education :
Knowledge of supply chain management including inventory, distribution, and logistics at a level normally acquired through completion of 2 year degree or relevant equivalent business experience.
License/Certifications :
Valid driver's license requiredExperience :
Minimum of two years' progressively more responsible related work experience necessary in order to gain full knowledge of Supply Chain processesExpertise in information systems involved in the scope of this position, Lawson and Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with subordinates and a variety of member personnelExcellent communications skills, both orally and in writing.
Analytical and critical thinking skills necessary to evaluate and execute strategic initiatives recommend changes and implement business processes.
