Southern Maine education institution is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. Responsibilities for this position will include:providing clerical support to Admissions Department, data entry, answering department phones, utilizing Microsoft Office to compose correspondence and to run basic reports, and any general office tasks as needed to ensure the department runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will be organized, have a pleasant and positive personality, and will be willing to help wherever needed. Hours for this position will total roughly 25 per week, and this position is expected to last through the end of the year and possibly longer. Pay is $11.00 per hour.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
